Placement of students to our magnet school setting is not managed at the school level and is fully and completely managed by the Buffalo Public Schools. For questions, please call the BPS Student Placement and Registration Office at 716-816-3717 or visit the website of the BPS Student Placement and Registration Office.
Please be aware, on February 15, 2017, former Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kriner Cash, issued this resolution adjusting the order of students who will be placed at City Honors and Olmsted Schools.

Families interested in the STARS Programs (Students with Autism Rising to Success) at City Honors, Olmsted or the Arts Academy, should contact the Buffalo Public School Special Education Placement Office at 816.4746.
Please note that the Buffalo Public Schools require residency in the city of Buffalo for your child to participate/sit for the admissions test. Charter and private school families must provide evidence to verify they are residents of the city.
