PTSCO (Parent, Teacher, Student, Community Organization) is an unincorporated membership association at City Honors comprised of parents, administrators, teachers, and students. We work to build community among these groups and enrich the educational experience of our students in coordination with our school administration, School Based Management Team, District Parent Coordinating Council and the City Honors School at Fosdick-Masten Park Foundation.
At the heart of PTSCO is active volunteerism on the part of parents, teachers and students.
Monthly meetings are based on a set agenda. We hear reports from the School-Based Management Team, grade-level parent reps, the City Honors Foundation, the District Parent Coordinating Council and our school administration. This is a way for everyone with a connection to City Honors to hear about current issues and updates, as well as to ask questions. We have grade-level and event committees that allow people to volunteer in a way that meets their interests and ability to commit. All volunteer efforts help to build community and enrich the experience of our students.
Please see the PTSCO website for additional information about what PTSCO does, events being planned, etc.
